This new-build Starbucks brought the company's first location in Kearny, New Jersey, from design through opening. Working within Starbucks Coffee Company's requirements and standards, the project translated an established brand into a new physical setting. The architectural task was to carry that identity into the building while meeting the specific program of the location. It reflects the coordination involved in turning a defined retail concept into a place ready to welcome customers.
