This design-build project in London, Ontario, brings the movement of goods and the work of the people managing them into one facility. The program combines 65,000 square feet of storage with dispatch operations, offices and a staff lounge, with additional rentable tenant space on the second floor. Bringing these uses together required an approach grounded in the operational purpose of the building. The project reflects the practical side of architectural design: organizing a varied program around the business it needs to support.
